Basically I cruised the lots for hours at a time along with hundreds of others partygoers & was not able to access parking, and thus my room, until 2 in the morning. There is another lot attached to the secondary lot, but that is labelled (with a small barely noticeable sign) that it's NOT Oasis parking. Instead of having dedicated parking for the hotel, the tiny tiny lot just outside the lobby, along with the somewhat larger lot across the street are both City of LV pay lots you get a hang tag allowing free parking but on a Friday night every spot was filled from 6 PM til after 2 AM. This was a minor inconvenience but if you have mobility issues, such as an older couple with walkers who I ended up helping out, it's a major disadvantage. You have to walk through the nightclub dance floor & pool tables to get to the elevators in the tower, security holds you back until the floor is somewhat clear then waves you through. The noise level is high, the hotel provides bedside earplugs which is never a good sign. First & foremost, the location in downtown has numerous nightclubs & bars, including the floor level nightclub at the Oasis itself. Unfortunately in this case, my expectations were not met, in fact they were crushed. I chose the Oasis for a quick shopping weekend in Vegas, just wanted someplace quiet, convenient with good ratings & reasonable parking options. Featuring a prime location in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, Oasis at Gold Spike is only steps away from a variety of popular tourist and local destinations including Downtown Container Park, the Fremont Street Experience, and the Fremont East Entertainment District, home to many of the city’s best and hippest new restaurants and bars. Or grab a beer and relax by the pool with friends. Grab your laptop and get some work done in our library while listening to its curated collection of tunes of vinyl. Grab a bike and explore the neighborhood. With 24/7 dining at the Fiddlestix at Gold Spike, you’re covered from breakfast to late-night snack. Take care of business in our onsite co-working space or relax on a daybed with poolside food and beverage service. Will remember this gem for our next trip to Vegas. Parking passes issued for the lot across the street when you are a guest. Way awesome, we didn't even leave the property the whole night, they had everything and then some to enjoy right here.Īll the staff was friendly. They had multiple games, music, bars and seating areas. It was 108 outside and the room AC was set to 60 upon entering and that was awesome!!! Walked the property to find they have the cutest area set up for the night life. No refrigerator but that didn't ruin our time, they have ice machines and we were able to keep our drinks cold. Our room appeared to be recently renovated, was super cute and clean. Also had a few loungers that are set in the water, no reservation or payment required to use any of these. Cute little pool court yard, they have tables/chairs. We booked a pool view room, so glad we did. Upon arrival, we immediately were blown away by all the amenities that are offered for the price.
